Music and Dance Performances Held at Fatahillah Museum Today

Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department (Disparbud) commemorated International Dance Day on April 29 by holding music and dance performances at Fatahillah Museum, Kota Tua, Taman Sari, West Jakarta.

"Happy International Dance Day. Hopefully we can be better in preserving our traditional dances," conveyed Oswar Muadzin Mungkasa, Acting Jakarta Governor Deputy for Tourism and Culture Department, in his welcoming speech on Sunday (4/28).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Disparbud Secretary, Asiantoro encourages all citizens to take a part in preserving Indonesian cultures.

"Especially those who have talents, we hope they can develop their skills and be active in preserving our traditional cultures thus it will not extinct," he said.
